Banking on the Future: Bank Marketing Academy – A first for bank professionals

TO elevate marketing professionals in the banking sector, the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines (BMAP) have partnered to offer comprehensive professional programs to address today’s rapidly evolving financial ecosystem.

Marketing professionals in the banking sector face the critical challenge of keeping pace with global trends, customer expectations and digital innovations; all in a highly-regulated industry.

This collaboration has resulted to the Bank Marketing Academy, which would offer programs designed and customized for bank marketing professionals to develop a comprehensive understanding of strategic marketing principles specific to the banking industry. This initiative responds to the pressing concern to professionalize, provide continuing education, and certify bank marketing practitioners, equipping them with the latest tools and best practices to thrive and excel in a fast-changing business environment.

The BMAP and the AIM recently announce that registrations are now open for the Bank Marketing Professional Program 1. This program is designed to solidify foundations in strategic marketing planning, consumer behavior, regulatory compliance, and digital marketing.

The hybrid program will take five half-day sessions that begins with an online class on September 27. These online sessions will also run from October 4, October 11 and October 18. These sessions would be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A face-to-face session would be held on October 25, 2025.

The program Fee is at a special rate of P45,000 per person, with a 10-percent discount for registrations made before August 31, 2025.

Through this program, marketing professionals will gain:

  • Global perspectives on emerging trends, digital transformation, and international bank marketing practices.
  • Practical tools and frameworks to strengthen customer engagement, brand positioning, and loyalty.

The Bank Marketing Academy is a first in the industry. Previously, professionals in this field would gain knowledge and experience on the job. This is one of the guiding principles that led to the BMAP and the AIM to develop a series of programs to address the need to upskill financial marketing professionals.

By joining this program, your bank or financial institution will enable its marketing professionals to deliver greater value, innovation, and competitiveness in today’s dynamic market, and is open to BMAP and non-BMAP member institutions. Bank marketers can take advantage of the special rate and an AIM Certificate that will be part of a certification program for financial marketing professionals.
